We would like to thank all those who have inspired us to develop this web page. This includes Peter Schut and Andy Bootsma at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and many people who have had inquiries about the new Plant Hardiness Zone map.

John Valleau of Heritage Perennials/Valleybrook Gardens, www.perennials.com/index.html has been particularly generous with his time, providing feedback, plant lists, contacts and responding to information requests.

A special thanks to Susan Meades, botanist and taxonomist, for her painstaking effort at checking taxonomy and her support for the plant hardiness project. Check out the Northern Ontario Plant Database.

As this page evolves we will further acknowledge our participants and partners.

At time of updating, we have received data and/or support from the following individuals and organizations:

The Dawson Creek & District Horticulture Club in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. An active club with up to 80 members located in an agricultural community.
